The Examinations Department says the 2011 Ordinary Level results will be delayed by a few days. The Examinations Commissioner General WMNJ Pushpakumara said the results attributed to the delay to reassessing the results. The department came under scrutiny last year due to irregularities in GCE A/L results and compilation of the Z-score. The Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission had received more than 200 complaints with regard to the Advanced Level examination results. A Presidential committee was appointed to investigate the Advanced Level Result crisis, with special attention to the system in which the exam was conducted, the development of Human Rights and the development of Infrastructure. The report had recommended a new advisor be appointed to advise authorities on the Computer network system and Software used for collection of results data.
