Bus operators along the 163 Dehiwela Battaramulla route are currently engaged in a strike. The Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association Gemini Wijeratne speaking to NewsRadio said the strike was launched in protest of attempts to extend the 176 Karagampitiya Hettiyawatta route to the Dehiwela junction.
