Leader in the Medal tally China claimed the first of today’s gold medals to be won. China’s Xu Lijia won the women’s Laser Radial gold from Marit Bouwmeester of the Netherlands. Italian marks man Niccolo Campriani claimed the 2nd gold of the day, in the Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions.
